Corgi Corner - Dixie

Hi there! Dixie will be 3 years old on March 7th. She traded in her stomping grounds at Fred Anderson Dog Park in Chicago for a new house in Orland Park with a backyard! She floofs all around in her new yard making friends with her next-door neighbor doggos. Dixie has been getting into indoor agility courses during the winter to keep the extra fluff at bay. Her parents bought her a new play tunnel and have been creating mazes to keep Dixie on her stumps. Dixie is a big fan of booping her parents every time she sees them with chicken on their plate. Dixie loves hanging around her new town and visiting their local Home Depot to get all of the behind-the-ear-scratches she can get while her parents shop for supplies. When Dixie’s parents are at work, her favorite hobby is barking at the mailman and watching the Puppy Bowl on TV. She can’t wait to see all of her fellow corgmates at the next Chicago Corgi Calvacade Pawty

Our hearts broke the end of January when we had to say goodbye to our dear Corgi friend, Ranger.

A letter from his dad, Marc Nard:

Ranger was with us for just under 15 years. He was the sweetest doggie we ever had. He was so loving. He always wanted to be around to get petted or play fetch or maybe play at fetch and then take off with the ball.  He was so popular in the neighborhood, everyone knew Ranger. He is sooooo cute! I was so proud to be
walking with him. He loved to ride in the car or just to go outside. He was happy and content all of the time.  Best doggie ever. My best friend who stayed up studying nursing with me and helped me whenever I was not feeling well. I did the same for him right to the end.

Love you Ranger and the world is not the same without you.

See you in Heaven my little Champion.

You are so loved."
